Received this email early this morning...
On Saturday 6 July the Qantas Wallabies and the British & Irish Lions will go head-to-head for the last time until 2025.
As a valued Western Force Member, Australian Rugby Union would like to offer you the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Qantas Wallabies v British & Irish Lions Test match at ANZ Stadium, Sydney on Saturday July 6, 2013 before they go on sale to the general public!
This will be the last opportunity to see the Lions on Australian soil for the next 12 years and tickets to this climactic Test are expected to go quickly so get in fast and secure your seat now.
Tickets go on sale to Western Force Members* on Thursday 13th December, 9am AWST until Monday 17th December, 5pm AWST
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Where? Usual Ticketeck....??? or whatever it's called???
Yes it's Ticketek.
The web site didn't work very well on Monday - probably because of the numbers of people trying to buy at the same time when they first went on pre-sale to other groups (you can see how it's been arranged if you just get onto the site). The pre-sale is not only for Force members. It was eventually sorted, maybe because some gave up.
My advice would be to get on there at the appointed time and keep trying.
Definitely agree with what Blackswan said. I have lots of experience of trying to get tickets for really popular events (Ashes in particular) and you have to be prepared to keep clicking and clicking and clicking until finally you get through. If you stick with it for long enough you will be successful. Don't give up!

Not sure how the blokes who come over from up north can afford it.
A Friend of mine a getting married on June 1st the week before the Lions game against the Force.
The reception is at the Novatel. I just rang up to make a booking and they told me it will be $609 a night YOU ARE FUCKING KIDDING ME! I can get a room across the road for $200 but who knows what it will be like later on in the year. I HATE THE PERTH TOURISM INDUSTRY

Ah well, once again the ARU can go f*** themselves. Obviously no-one in Perth has a job at 9am on a weekday, so as usual we get to pick over the s*** seats. Had thought to take my father to his last chance at a Lions Test, but not to be. Maybe a Bledisloe one day.

103-1, so ground level behind the in-goal. Not even remotely close to worth the effort. If past form is anything to go by, they will not have held out any seats from the pre-sale. What is there now(ish) will be what is on offer come the public sale.
Not to worry, another time. Thanks anyway though Ali![]()
