The State Government is calling for nominations for a sports fans' group that will provide feedback on design elements of the new Perth stadium.
The 30 member group will brief the Government on the effect proposed elements of the venue will have on the "fan experience".
Premier Colin Barnett said the stadium would be built with a fan-first philosophy.
"Close consultation with sports fans will be crucial to delivering on that commitment and producing a world-class sporting facility for all West Australians," he said.
Passionate fans of football, cricket, rugby league, rugby union and soccer are encouraged to apply.
Planning is continuing for the venue, with three companies shortlisted for pre-construction works.

Just watching the Glory game to get a seek preview of the stadium changes Looking good eastern stand has a roof and the southern has people in it .. Also thenew light tower next to the old one in the south west corner
It's the most soccer I've ever watched-just to catch a glimpse of the stand. It's a girlie game.I don't know how males can like it.The only way I can stand looking at it is because I want the Glory to win.
Just got home from the Glory game, will upload a couple of snaps I took when I dig the lap top out
I would like to be enlightened please direct me to a good account of history
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
If that's a serious request, it's not hard to find one. Even mr Google lists a good'un top.

For a more detailed one of the modern game, Huw Richards' "A Game For Hooligans" is a pretty good read.

Just a thought why have the Government called in fans groups after the stadium is near completion to get feed back surely this would have been better called for at the start of the process.
I can't remember who it was but someone on this forum said about the lights at the NIB being very poor and not like the lights at other stadiums in world rugby just a little thing that could have been put right and debated before the building commenced
the feedback request is for the new stadium at BURSWOOD
.............and the lights hev been put right - for the first Force home game.
PS. Was gonna edit that spelling error. But I think I'll just leave it in New Zillund-ish.

Happy and myself had a drive by yesterday, plenty of workers about but it does seem they will be cutting it fine for an on time completion, which is very unlike BGC![]()
