Eales writes very well and this article in particular really does hit the nail on the head doesnt it.
Interesting article. In the case of women's teams, it makes you wonder that as most of the sporting womens teams, actually have to work to fund their participation (rather than being paid to play sport as a full time job) if this impacts their attitudes. In that any mishap in their sporting career would reflect on their working career.
I know it's a generalisation as some males do work, and some women are paid to play sport however, generally, womens teams do have to fund themselves.
