I love Perth, lived here for 15 years, supported the Force for 8 years and never missed a game. Rewarded with a few highs and many lows, but I'll never give up.
Being from the mother country, I'm going to Melbourne & Sydney to support the Lions as my heart dictates. So I really have to begin support now although it breaks my heart!
I've got so much Force merchandise it would be a shame not to wear any!
Anyone else struggling with this dilemma?![]()
Force jacket. Force jersey. Force beanie. Force polo under the jersey.

Anyone else struggling with this dilemma?[/QUOTE]
Well sorry but I not from the land of the poms so I don't have the dilemma but some where you have to cut the apron strings
Example
Would you put ya Mother before ya wife

I am going with my two sons both born in England one who loves rugby (going in his lions gear) one who loves Afl and has a passing interest in rugby with his brothers Western Force stuff.
Me I am going to hope for a draw and wear the warmest clothes I have because its going to be cold tomorrow night
I too am a pom (well, born a pom) but have no problem supporting the Force unequivocally.
If the Force were playing just England it might be a closer call, but I've lived here 6 years now, have been on tour with the Force, drunk stupid amounts with some of the players, and so know them far better than any of the Lions. I think only half a dozen of the Lions had any test caps when I left the UK; I hardly know any of them.
Force first!.... But the tests will be a different story!.....
The spectacle and the privilege will be fantastic - the Lions are a fantastic institution and symbolic of what rugby is all about - being able at different times to smash your opponent and at others, have a beer with them or even play on the same team.
Still, the last thing I want to do is give them a leg up against the Wallabies - let their egos and bodies be dented and softened up for the Tests - no free confidence boosts, please.
Carn THE FORCE!!!! (B)!!!!
