And that's only when they're having an exceptionally good day.
Very kind of you FS. I am not so sure you have seen me at my worst; that game wasn't involving Paly at all!

That was not a mobile phone, but a comms handset to let me listen to the central ref in order to relieve the boredom of being in-goal judge (not AR) when the play was down the other end. I don't reckon you saw me chatting on it.

The relieving of boredom worked a treat, if you recall the brilliant positioning and report to Sir to disallow what seemed to have been a certain runaway try during that very match.

Did you disallow the try for the wrong team Ecky? maybe that's what got RM's knickers in a twist.

As a match official there is no wrong or right team.

(Some may argue that where J Kaplan or B Lawrence are involved)

    Lovely guy,

And got a good report from you when you watched him referee. Verbally of course, you never put the official one in.

Always smiles, knows every law inside out, always willing to help others out, especially clubs.

Drinks Super dry 3.5 after a game (He's driving) if you ever get a chance to chat to him come up and say hi, he's always got time.

I see he's at Soaks this weekend.

    Also enjoys poetry, & whisky.

Well that's the long & the Short of it, well, more the Short.

Can't understand half of that. Is it poetry? Or have you been on the whisky?

Clearly some hidden meaning or code.

Clearly this guy Burns is a good buddy of yours Rugbyref? Or are you just closing ranks with the other referees?

"He's come good this season after tailing off a bit last season." What does Ecky mean by this? Is this referee-speak for had a shocker?

Come down to Lark Hill and we will give you a verbal report (may include a few 4 letter words). Then again, maybe the Soaks faithful will give you one tomorrow.

What do you expect RM when we have to listen to the same boring shit you lot come out with week in or week out.

    Now, back to topic.

Who do you think should get the GF in Prem.

I'd say has to be Coops this year, but interested in what the 'Old Faithful' think.
