(The players concerned were UNREGISTERED. The rules do not allow for dispensations for UNREGISTERED players. Now does everyone understand?[/QUOTE])

Are we talking all the Western Force players playing Premier grade being unregistered or just a few. Surely they must be registered in some way to play Super 15?

Wow. What a complete load of crap this is.
People whinge about Force players abandoning Perth rugby when Super rugby's over and do nothing locally to help improve the game then when they do this crap erupts.
Force players have been in training and playing mode for nearly 10 months playing Super Rugby. They are banged up and need rest and recovery time to manage/recuperate from the rigours of this years programme. The fact that we have seen a few appearances recently should be applauded and appreciated. Club players have not dealt with the same rigours of Super Rugby and all the travel involved as the Force players, the fact they make themselves available is great for club rugby and to show club rugby is improving when the local players match it with them which they will.
Also RugbyWA sanctions the competition therefore has power unto itself to make decisions regarding exceptional circumstances which Super Rugby surely qualifies.

We read your complete load of crap the first time.

Mr. Bear, the only EWF players that anyone is taking issue with are Wykes and Cowan playing for Wests and Dellitt playing for Nedlands. All others were registered to the clubs they play for and the rules allow RWA to declare them eligible whether they really are or not. RWA corrupted the rules to allow them to do this last time they were caught out cheating.

Come on, 16 games spread over 6 months.. the Force guys have almost 7 months before their next game. If this were France or the UK they would be playing over 30 games and be playing from august to april/may.

And Zed didn't take into account of a team playing in finals! That could easily add another 6 games. Oh I think he also forgot about playing for your country! In our case that must add 15 games a year (my estimation).
But that isn't what the grip is about.
But remember the Force are helping WA rugby wether you like it or not.
With out the Force in WA we are buggered!

Lets for one moment get behind Fulvio and scratch Pek, paddy and Sam form these games on a technicality ( Fulvio I shall pander to your argument - yes an infraction of the rules) but non the less a technicality considering we are in the professional era and these players have been aligned with a RugbyWA club ( maybe not registered) but still a nit pick.

I then would like to know Fulvio your plan 'A'

Front the Rugby WA masses and SAY " I protected you all from these heinous rule breakers" You are saved.

Really what benefit are you attempting to gain for the good of the game and perhaps even your club? What about asking Dave Ball and each player in your semi final group what they think of your crusade?

    What "technicality"?

RWA have ignored their own rules and have corrupted the local competition to the point of farce.

The clubs play in a discrete competition, they are not an adjunct to the force, to be manipulated and usurped for the Force's convenience.

RWA have become the subject of contempt and derision by every right minded rugby supporter, both here and interstate.

It is they who have created "technicalities" and have been so incompetent in implementing them that they can now be seen for what they are, emperors with no cloths, one rule for them, and another for everybody else.

As far as I am concerned they can do what they like with their players, start a competition between themselves if they want, and if they carry on with their present shenanigans they will end up playing themselves, because grass roots rugby is getting heartily sick of their bullshit and some clubs are going to do something about it, even if it means voting with their feet.

And Hansie, don't try and patronise and belittle me, you are ill equipped for the task.

Up to now I have afforded you respect, but I will only extend respect to those who respect me.

Hansie, you seem like a relatively intelligent bloke, (although I'm sure RM would beg to differ), putting aside his vitriol, I'm bemused by the fact that you can't seem to see Fulvio has a very valid point. Is it because you want to save face, or you genuinely think that by playing ineligible Force players that this will benefit the game in WA? Personally I think it's great that Force players are playing in the finals, but the rule book needs to be followed otherwise there's no point in having rules in the first place. If this means Force guys don't appear in the finals and people miss out on seeing them play, then so be it. We need to find a better, more equitable way of enabling Force guys more game time in the local comp.

If I understand right, according to the 2013 RugbyWA competition rules, the mentioned Force players are not eligible to play in the finals.

In which case a dispensation must be sought. According to those rules, a club must seek a dispensation in writing. So in order for them to be able to play, Wests must have submitted a written request, in which case and RugbyWA may have approved such request based on 11.3 (b) (iii)?

    A few questions:
Did Wests submit a written request for dispensation?
Did RugbyWA subsequently approve the request?
Was an appeal lodged against this approval?
If so and if the appeal was rejected, under what grounds was it rejected?

    11.3 Dispensations
    (a) Clubs seeking dispensation for players to participate in a Finals match in a
team that they would, pursuant to these Competition Rules, be otherwise
ineligible to play for, must apply in writing to the Competition Manager for that
dispensation by 12 noon on the Wednesday prior to the match concerned.
Clubs that make a timely application for such a dispensation will be advised
as to the result of their application (and of the conditions (if any) on which any
such dispensation have been granted) by 5pm on the Thursday prior to the
match concerned. Applications for dispensation that fall outside the prescribed
submission deadline will be considered by the Competition Manager only in
    the most exceptional circumstances.
    (b) Dispensations will only be granted under Rule 11(3)(a) for the following
    reasons:
    (i) Purposes of safety. This is restricted to ensuring there are 6 suitably
trained front rowers being available to any squad.
(ii) Through injury to players for the duration of the Finals series.
(iii) Player(s) returning from long term injury that has been suffered during the
current season. Suitable medical records identifying nature of injury and
necessary time out of the game to recover from such injury will be required to
substantiate any possible granting of dispensation under this clause.
(iv) Where a player is graded as ineligible as a direct result of that player’s
involvement in representative matches including Emirates Western Force
matches and all WA State Team(s) representative matches played throughout
    the season.
    (c) Breaches of the conditions (if any) under which a dispensation has,
pursuant to this rule, been granted by the Competition Manager, or the
provision of false information to the Competition Manager for the purposes of
securing such a dispensation will automatically disqualify the offending team
    from all Finals matches.

    Thumbs down

    Gentlemen,
There has been admissions that these players are playing unregistered. So the bottom line is the teams with unregistered players will be cheating.
For RWA sake I hope Palmyra win tomorrow, because if they lose it could get very ugly.
