If he play's like we all know he can. A top-up should come his way very quickly IMO.

    At long last!!!!!

    Congrats to the badger.

Besides Cooper that is an awesome backline, would have preferred Toomua at 10, but just stoked to have the Honey Badgher back in.

Now come on ARU get your act together

PS What has lIam Gill done wrong?, cannot beleive he is not even on the bench

I think Cooper for Toomua is one of very few moves that could have been made at 10. Matty hasn't been himself in the last two tests and needed to sit down and have a think about being an international flyhalf. Cooper has been pretty good in the time he has played and has certainly been the best option out of the two.

Bernard Foley would be my question, Why not him?

Gill made absolutely no impact when he came on in either test. He's had his chance and needs to rebuild. My problem is that Schatz doesn't seem to be any better at a super rugby level and is unlikely to be at test level. There are a lot of Queensland passengers in the pack Simmons, Schatz and Faingaa to put some names to the statement. I know Tic and TOCC will bemoan my assessment of Simmons (and probably the others too) dragging out every positive stat they can find in an exhaustive deep search of the Internet, but anybody who watches the games can tell that Fardy was three times the player Simmons was and should be starting at lock, McCalman can outplay Simmons three times a day and all day Sunday and Faingaa just plainly isn't a hooker. I'm not too sure of the injury status of Hookers at the moment, but if Australia doesn't have anything better than Faingaa on the shelf, Stevie Moore needs to play 80.

Folau at FB - a big tick from me, Badger at 14 = even BIGGER TICK, back three now very solid under Morne Steyn's highball and Badger runs straight.

I think Schatz has been brought in to beef up the back row - even if it is from the bench - but I agree, I reckon Ben McCalman is a far better option than either Schatz or Simmons.

Good for Cummins getting back in as wel...!
