EMIRATES, FORCE CELEBRATE A “REMARKABLE RELATIONSHIP”
Emirates Western Force has acknowledged the wonderful contribution of naming rights partner Emirates following the completion of an eight-year partnership.
Emirates, one of the world’s premier airline carriers, has been the naming rights partner since the club’s inaugural Super Rugby season in 2006.
RugbyWA CEO Mark Sinderberry says Emirates has been a key part of the club’s strong and committed supporter base.
“We want our corporate partners to have a passion for the Force and an involvement with the club and that benchmark has been set with Emirates in what has been a remarkable relationship,” he said.
“The club and Emirates have enjoyed a close relationship over the past eight years and as we move forward we’re looking for another partner with whom we can align objectives and grow our businesses together.
“We’re driven to facilitate growth and provide a genuine return on investment for all our valued partners, and we will continue to do that as we enter a new and exciting chapter for the club.
“This is the first time since 2006 that the front-of-jersey opportunity has been available and our discussions with a number of potential major partners are already quite advanced and continuing.
“Emirates has been a fantastic supporter of the Force from the outset and I’d like to thank Darren Tyrrell and everyone at Emirates who has contributed to this relationship over an extended period of time.”
Emirates Regional Manager WA Darren Tyrrell says his organisation has enjoyed being associated with Emirates Western Force.
“We are immensely proud of the long and mutually beneficial relationship we’ve built with the Emirates Western Force over the past eight seasons,” he said. “We’ve enjoyed being a part of the team and I’d like to thank the club and its members for supporting us so whole-heartedly.”

Nothing of the sort.
At the members forum last week, the CEO mentioned that due to the alliance with Qantas and the way Emirates previously used their sponsorship to gain mileage has changed their landscape, they may not be the main sponsors, however they will likley still be around in a smaller partnership capacity.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
