James O'Connor has been reportedly spotted meeting with Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal, 24 hours after his London Irish debut.
The 23-year-old Australian started at full-back for the Exiles in the 14-19 loss to Northampton Saints at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday.
O'Connor was photographed at Toulon's Mayol training ground on Monday and met with Boudjellal and director of recruitment Laurent Emmanuelli regarding a move for next season, according to Varmatin.
O'Connor is only on a contract with Irish until the end of the Aviva Premiership season, after being released by the Australian Rugby Union earlier this year.
With former Wallabies Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell already playing at the Stade Felix Mayol, the Heineken Cup champions may well become O'Connor's next destination following his stint with the Exiles.

I have a lot of time for James O Connor and I am willing to forgive certain indiscretions or certainly put a spin on incidents to have him viewed in a more favorable light but even for me his antics are starting to wear my patience out.
Toulon is a beautiful place, get paid millions of dollars and live there, can't blame the kid. He'll stick out his contract with the Irish I'm sure first though.

“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
Well if he signs for the 2014/2015 season that will be the end of him playing for the Wallabies in the 2015 world cup won't it? He'll finish the season with Toulon (if he signs) April 2015..
Seriously, does anybody still care?
If he signs for any Australian province, good luck to him, but I can't imagine that he's a great loss at this point in time!

I just wish to state categorically for the record. I have never been to Toulon, or anywhere in France. Ever.

Who cares were he is. He is not tied to us or anyone else in Au. He is a free agent what he does is his business. If he comes back "great" IMO. if he doesn't so be it.
May the FORCE be with you!
Makes no difference we would still lose the test as he would be playing in green and gold not in Refs Colours
Only chance of Joc changing the wallabies situation if he went to coaching school HAHA
