Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
You will see very little of the game me thinks
I had the same thought
I call it "mentoring"
I call it slave labor

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
ahhh fair point. My apologies

There's plenty to fill the gap you leave Gigs.

The kid who used to do it two or three years back got to watch most of the game. He seemed to enjoy it. I think they have to do a little bit of setting up beforehand and at the end of the game to come out with the sponsor backdrops. They also have to help out with the press conferences. The seats they get during the game are good too. It's not such a bad gig.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
When I was 16th player for the Blues Match a couple of seasons ago.. "she who must be obeyed" gave me a rollicking for getting "enthusiastic" on the side line..![]()

"not allowed".."don't do it again".... etc etc.. I told her if we score another try she had best arrange security to stop me running on the pitch and giving the boys some "lerv".... Mitch - Team manager at the time thought her attitude was hilarious.. !!! And as she is STILL a member of staff... I'd best not volunteer... we may come to blows...

For a moment I thought they were offering up a spot on the playing staff for a moment.
I would have stuck my hand up last season to do it with out thinking but this season I don't think I could control my emotions if we fail to deliver
