I'm surprised nobody has posted yet, but that Reds Brumbies game was the most uninspiring, error-fueled snore fest ever.
Dribbler Graham's fingerprints all over the Reds, 20 minutes in their own half without the footy, only difference, a blind luck drop by a (usually) solid Wallaby outside back letting them in for a try against the run of play.
Brumbies not really any better. The race for top of Aussie Conference is wide open if that's any indication!

Agreed very boring, so many knock ons. No set moves from the Brumbies, they looked as though they didn't have any idea what to do.
Reds seem to work on the idea that QC will come up with something.
I suppose it's the usual first game of the season
May the FORCE be with you!
Turner was outstanding. Gill was also good. Lots of errors from both teams.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
You'll hold that same grudge in a couple of months TOCC. I was just surprised how quickly he erased Link's good work and turned them into the 2012 Force but with a bunch of Wallabies.
We're you impressed with their performance?

They defended well. And Jesse Mogg gave them a helping hand. Not sure we can say they'll top the conference just yet.
I only saw the last 25 minutes but in that time the Reds managed to hang on although the Brumbies kept shooting themselves in the foot with errors that ended up costing them the game.
The last try to the Reds was hillarious to watch. I bet Jesse Mogg wished he brought a shovel in his kit bag
I thought QC was excellent. His passing is sublime.
One area that does deserve mention was the couple of cut-out passes from Quade that lead to Turner and Toua tries. Brumbies were employing a rush defence with a strong push from the 12 and 13 to close space for the backline within 10m of the ruck. With the pass for the Turner try, Quade held and waited until the brumbies had overcommitted and passed behind those defenders.
Yes. Most of the play was scrappy but a couple of those QC cut-out passes that put the outside men into try-scoring space were sublime all right. He's earning more respect by his deeds, rather than misdeeds, every time he plays. Augers well for the season. The Mogg try was excellent too. Made his way through a non-existent gap in the defensive line with sheer blinding pace. All-in-all a typical first round performance.
