from Rugby Heaven Staniforth Article:
....Coach (John) Mitchell names his line-up on Thursday for Friday night's Super 14 trial against the champion Crusaders at Carlton's AFL training ground Princes Park.
(Matt) Giteau, lock (Nathan) Sharpe and winger (Drew) Mitchell are the Force's only Wallabies on the Australian Rugby Union's Restricted Training Activities program.
(Scott) Staniforth said he was unsure if he would play due to a groin strain.
"I had my first run today after pinching my groin last week so I'll have a run tomorrow and see how it goes.
"I don't want to push it but I also don't want to give anyone a head start."
The match is actually a Crusaders' home game, in a repeat of last year's trial between the two Super 14 sides.
With the Crusaders resting seven of their All Blacks from the first seven rounds of the Super 14, coach Robbie Deans has named rookie flanker Kieran Read as his first-half captain, with regular skipper Corey Flynn taking over for the second half.
The match kicks off at 7pm (AEDT).

"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Not televised i presume?
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
No but it wouldn't not even on Foxtel.
I heard a rumour that Super 14, could be shown up to 18 hours after the game.
Do we have any Melbournites that will be there in the flesh?
Does anyone know of a "Live Scores" gig we can at least get score updates on?
The S14 news being delayed on Foxtel could be a bummer if true. Blame the bloody Kiwis for upsetting NewsCorp!
Nice plate.
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
Thanks TLH, should have opted for 2007 so that I had the year of the first champsionship of their three-peat (a little optimism goes a long way - or so they say!)
