The Reds are launching a recruitment drive in Fiji as they scout for talent in an attempt to rebound from 2014's disappointing Super Rugby season.
Operations manager and former Wallaby scrum-half Sam Cordingley, was on Saturday at the local league semi-final between Nadroga and Suva.
Cordingley revealed he was working on returning the Reds to the top after a dismal recent campaign and that Fiji was a good place to start.
"We have a number of foreign positions within our senior squad which open up opportunities for Fijian players and we are also open to developing players within our academy," Cordingley told AFP.

So after reading that one assumes that no plan was in place for the departure of so many players!
Must be the RG effect, but what the hell are QRU thinking surely the must be thinking WTF!
TBH it's a worry for Au rugby not just Queensland. We don't need any side to be as bad as they were last year.

RG has been bad for Australian rugby for about 4 seasons now. Why do those in charge of rugby in this country not see it? I note though that they haven't let him anywhere near the Flagship Waratah!
Qld rugby should give the money back to the ARU that they receive for developing local talent in Qld's vast local competition.
