Huge match for the Piggies to secure the fourth finals spot, but could all come down to Brisbane City beating the Vikings if the Piggies don't earn the spot themselves.
Go Spirit![]()

Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
The Rays need to win with a bonus point to give themselves a chance. They are playing the Stars, so it's possible. That would give them 17 points, but they need both the Spirit and Vikings to lose to get them into the finals.
The Vikings need to beat Brisbane City and have us lose to the Eagles.
The Rams need the Eagles to beat us by 60 points, Brisbane to beat the Vikings, and the Stars to prevent the Rays from getting a bonus point win. (And Queensland Country to not beat Melbourne by 40 points, but that's in the realms of the ridiculous!)
We need a win against the Eagles, or a draw and the Vikings don't get a bonus point win against Brisbane. Technically, we can lose and still qualify, but it needs Brisbane to beat the Vikings and the Rays to not get a bonus point against the Stars).
The Eagles and Brisbane are in the finals, but both will want to win to get a home semi, so I wouldn't expect either us or the Vikings to have an easy time against sides resting players - both will be going all out.
Although, considering the benefit of home semi; of the 32 games so far: 14 have been won by the home team, 15 by the away team, and 3 draws. Home field hasn't been that advantageous!
