Harvey Field will play host to a mouthwatering Pindan Premier Grade Match of the Round when Cottesloe lock horns with Associates in the ‘Battle of Broome Street’ in a clash that will prove pivotal in the race for the finals.
The Gulls currently sit in fourth-place just three-points ahead of Associates and can take another step towards the post season with a win in front of their home crowd. ‘Cott’ will be determined to redeem themselves after a devastating 29-26 loss to Nedlands last week.
Associates will be up and about this weekend heading into their most important match of the season to date. The Swanbourne club’s fate is in their own hands and can make the jump into the four with a victory at Harvey Field. ‘Soaks’ will take confidence into the clash coming off an encouraging 26-21 loss to second-placed Wests Scarborough.

Round Eight: Nedlands 37 defeated Joondalup 7 at HBF Arena Sportsplex, Joondalup.
Nedlands will look to move closer to clinching the minor premiership when they entertaining eight-placed Joondalup at The Foreshore.
‘Neddies’ recorded their 11th four-try bonus-point of the season in last round’s thrilling 29-26 win over Cottesloe. Nedlands sit ahead of Wests Scarborough on points difference and will be looking to put in another fine attacking performance against the Brothers this weekend to maintain pole-position.
Joondalup will be intent on bouncing back against ‘Neddies’ this week after a 16-point loss at the hands of UWA last round. The Brothers have claimed some big scalps in their maiden Pindan Premier Grade season including UWA, Cottesloe and Kalamunda and will be keen to add the ladder leaders to their list.

Round Eight: Wests Scarborough 22 defeated 10 Palmyra at Bennett Park, Doubleview.
Wests Scarborough have locked up a top two finish this season but will look to regain top-spot when they travel to Tompkins Park to take on sixth-placed Palmyra.
Wests continued their extraordinary 2015 season in Round 16 overcoming a determined ‘Soaks’ outfit to triumph 27-21. The Boars have dropped just one match this season and will be determined to keep their run going as they begin to hit their straps heading into the finals.
Palmyra hopes of a finals berth are still well and truly alive despite a six-point loss to Kalamunda last round. ‘Paly’ currently sit in sixth spot but are just three-points outside of the four and wins in the next fortnight could set the club up for an unexpected finals appearance. ‘Paly’ were at their attacking best against the Bulls, running in four tries but will need to strengthen their defence against the might of the Boars.

Round Eight: UWA 45 defeated Perth Bayswater 8 at Pat O'Hara Reserve, Morley.
UWA will look to keep themselves in the hunt for fourth spot when they play host to bottom-placed Perth Bayswater.
The students continued their late season charge with a 41-25 win over Joondalup in Round 16. Richard Hardwick ran in all five of UWA’s tries to claim man of the match honours for the second week in a row. UWA currently sit in seventh but are just four-points outside the four and depending on other results wins in the next two weeks could see them reach the finals to defend their title.
Perth Bayswater went back-to-back and claimed their second win of the season in Round 16 with a gutsy 20-12 win over Wanneroo. ‘Baysie’ have been anchored to the bottom of the table all season but a pair of wins to finish the season could see them avoid the wooden spoon.

Round Eight: Kalamunda 42 defeated 5 Wanneroo at Hartfield Park, Forrestfield.
Kalamunda will look to continue their five match winning streak when they travel to Kingsway Reserve to take on ninth-placed Wanneroo.
Kalamunda have booked their finals ticket for 2015 and look to have third spot all wrapped up after a 37-31 win over Palmyra last week. The Bulls appear to be hitting their stride at the right time of the season and will be keen to build on their momentum against Wanneroo looking towards the finals.
Wanneroo went down to bottom-placed Perth Bayswater by eight points in Round 16 and will look to bounce back when they play host to Kalamunda. The Roodogs have not tasted victory since Round 11 and will be keen to give their loyal home crowd something to cheer about this weekend.
