I guess the referee's coaching panel and I are going to have to agree to disagree, because there is every potential for one of the incidents I described to cause serious injury or alter the outcome of the game significantly. I'm not having a go at you personally mate, It's nice to have a current ref to bounce this sort of stuff off, however in this case, it appears the system has been set up to protect the Ref and the recipients of his favour rather than make the necessary inputs to ensure a fairer game for all.
It is also taking an uncharacteristically long time for me to get over some of the specific incidents of Saturday's game, not least of which are the dangerous, disrespectful and overbearing performance by our national captain......I guess you have to develop that game when you are coming up against a Richie McCaw in your international career, but it sucks to be on the wrong side of it.

I agree with you on that point. It would only confuse and punish everybody on the field, undoing any good work the team which has been on the wrong side of the ref has done to redress the imbalance.
Imagine if Lees had gone into the sheds and decided he'd stuffed it up completely and started reffing it differently, the fist 20 minutes of the second half, where the team obviously made some adjustments and got things going wouldn't have happened!

Oh, and for further information:
There is a Citing Commissioner at each match, whose sole role is to view the match from a foul play/disciplinary perspective.
I expect this person knows the referee, but they have no role in the referee's performance feedback, nor will they be in contact with the referee pre- or post-game in relation to the game itself.
We would hear in very short time whether there are any citings from this last match. If there are no citings then the incidents previously referred to were not as bad as they may have seemed.

The responses should be interesting.
man, i watched the rest of the replay last night, from 30 mints +. I was not too concerned with the general play refereeing, yes there was some questionable call, but i am not all in arms about it. a few in the sides, probable forward pass lead to the try, and i have no issues with the heath tessman 'high shot'. front on tackle, with out any rolling.
you know what i kept seeing??
Tessmans fantastic work rate and physicality in defense.
RHP giving it all
the back line playing like a back line
Game is done - the ref shafted us, we cannot fix it.
