By all accounts a huge centre pairing.
I hope the Wallabies u20s beat the hell out of the rest of the world.
I have had the opportunity to coach teams from junior level playing against teams with Nick in it and also with Nick in my team, he is a game winner. I love his style and way of reading the game. Big loss to WA but best decision he could have made for his own career as he would not have been in the Aus U20 team if he stayed in Perth under the current structure.
He very nearly missed out with the Brumbies and was brought into squad due to injuries.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Scotland won 15 -10. Magnay got yellow at 7 and 44 min and cinsequently red. Jooste off at 57 min, shambeckler came on at 72 mins.
Lost to Scotland? How embarrassing.
Sack dingo I say
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
Just watched the replay, very sloppy performance by the Aussies. The centre pairing of Jooste and Magnay were terrible with Jooste having no impact on the game whatsoever and Magnay getting red carded after 45 mins for 2 danger tackles. The Aussie fullback was a standout with his counterattack but the rest of the backs showed no combination at all. Jooste struggled all game with positioning on attack and defense with the Aussie 10 often left with no options more often than not due to the 12 being nowhere to be seen. Apart from the scrum the Aussie forwards continuously getting smothered by linespeed and aggression from the Scottish forwards and were out mauled by the smaller Scottish pack. The lineout was very shaky and the backrow did not put enough pressure on the Scottish ball to force any breakdown turnovers. A very sloppy performance from the Aussies.
Sack the coach!
Hire Tom Fearn to coach them!!
