The 35 man squad are professionals who get only Annual Leave - just like the rest of us.
If it's the same as last season it's a combination of things:
1. Those recovering from injuries/surgery (such as Matt Hodgson) or ongoing niggles are busy on rehab. and maintaining fitness.
2. Those playing NRC (majority of the squad) train to integrate with the club players.
3. After the NRC the focus switches to skills and player group development.
4. At the end of each season there is an individual assessment for each player and skill and physical shortfalls identified for specific work programs.
5. Those who are not having their contracts extended beyond 2016 are still paid to the end of the year so generally they still have access to the gym and can keep fit so they are still an attractive pick-up when needed.
6. Combinations of the above.
7. There is still community & sponsor involvement.
8. Some players focus on studies or work experience as well as the above.

Sorry people. I was only joking.
Coaches and players are really very very good!
Results don't mean nothing right.
20's were very good. 0 from 5. Promising tho!
NRC were very good 3 wins from 8 or something.unlucky.
Force 2 wins from a shit load of games no home wins. Refs were the problem there.
The way to fix it is to keep the same people. Right?
Interesting how the world club 10s didn't crack a mention. Don't let facts get in the way of a good rant!
