I've noticed that since I last updated big brother (Android phone) that when I do a search and tap a link, the page opens in Google rather than my "default" browser. I hate the way they just do that sort of shit without asking. You can tell it to open in Firefox but the page has to reload.
Being as thech savvy as the late great TLH, can anyone suggest a fix? Pls.
Cut and paste mate, cut and paste
Nope, Android is backed by Google, the only option is to avoid the search widget and go straight to Firefox.
Of course I haven't seen how to change the default search engine in Firefox either.

Enter a search in your google.
After which they should show your search results but at the top left there should be the 3 horizontal lines (menu). Select it.
Select settings.
Select accounts & privacy.
Slide circle at "open web pages in app" to the left.
Hope this is your solution as it was mine
