According to TOCC on the GnGR forums Bordeaux have made an offer to Dane Hayley-Petty
It appears to be backed up, but Dane is under contract at the moment and would need to be released. Given that he appeared to outperform even izzy at times in the Wallabies this year, I can't imagine the ARU letting that happen lightly.

But the big difference between Dane and Izzy is that Izzy is being paid huge money by the ARU to play Rugby in Australia for the Wallabies and the Waratahs.
Dane's current contract is with the Force and I am betting that there is zero ARU "top up"

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
However Dave's force contract is now an ARU contract. Even if it wasn't, it still needs to be ratified by the ARU. Given the fact that fox sports appear to set policy for the ARU and they were calling Dane a long term wallaby prospect. I would think that just this once, we might catch a break.

this is not what you need to hear to start 2017![]()
I'm obviously biased and Folau is well marked these days. But there's only a struck match between them IMO. Surely the ARU will intervene and do something to keep him. DH-P is 27 and just getting to be an automatic selection so it wouldn't be megabucks.

Without having read the chatter on GAGR, does it say when the deal is from?
They might be ready to wait for his current deal to finish
The West reporting today that Dane has turned down the overseas contracts and wants to play in the World Cup and for the Force as long as we are around![]()
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
That's good news. I saw that Volavola has been picked up by the Rebels, I wonder if he was on our radar if Haylett-Petty was leaving?

Here it is on Perth Now as well. I guess now they are owned by The West they get their stories too.
WESTERN Force and Wallabies outside back Dane Haylett-Petty has turned down big money offers from Europe to fulfil his world cup dream.
Haylett-Petty made his international breakthrough last year and his dozen Wallabies performances attracted the attention of several clubs, particularly French Top 14 side Bordeaux.
But the 2016 Wallabies rookie of the year, who has one more season on his Force contract, has his sights set on the 2019 world cup in Japan.
