Despite winning the championship, ACT have been sensationally snubbed at the selection table with only 2 players selected in the Australian Schoolboys team. NSW, which failed to make the final somehow have 11 players in the squad. What a crock of biased bullshit.
Congratulations to WA representative Carlo Tizzano on being selected in the Australian Schoolboys team and Brody McCaskill on being selected in the Barbarians team.

Not a bad year for a WA selections compared to the last two years.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
That Mungo ring-in from St Augustine's, Brookvale could cause some havock.
You reckon the selections look dodgy? Check the schools they go to. The more things change the more they stay the same.
Yep, I reckon your right - ex Wannerroo for Cullen? I was talking to Francis Williams, President of Wanneroo a couple of weeks ago. He was telling me of a couple of other Wanneroo juniors who had shown promise at state level and how they had been showered with scholarships by Qld schools or offered money by League clubs. He was -rightly so- proud and at the same time frustrated by the talent they have up there that was being lost to Rugby in WA
And that, right there, is why "Australian" rugby is screwed. The NSW bias goes from cradle to grave. And I really don't see how it can ever change unless we have a completely independent commission running the game. And the only way we'll get that is if the Federal Govt or World Rugby make it happen.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby

This is disgusting.
There are only 4 GPS boys in the Australian Schools first XX.
It shows exactly what is wrong with rugby in Australia today - what are boys from CAS and from QLD doing in this list? (And the lad from WA is obviously a printer's error.)
I will bring it to Cameron and Bill's attention the very next time the NSW Banker's Association meets in North Sydney.

The schools which belong to the so called GPS Association of Queensland are imitations.
True GPS schools can only be found in NSW, and mainly north of the Harbour/Parramatta River or east of Petersham.
With respect,
Blimp (Retd)
PS: I am in a position to consider offers of suitable trophy directorships, but only on the North Shore.
nice to see the Canberra Media fired up about schools rugby!
