The Road Safety Western Force Under 16s squad has been named for the National Championship to be held at The Southport School on the Gold Coast from Sunday, 24 September to Saturday, 30 September.
The U16 National Championship 2017 will be the first true state verse state test for the WA players, as they continue along the player development pathway and their own career. The last time the tournament was held was back in 2013 and WA will look to improve on their 6th place finish in that year.
The squad chosen were identified by coaches through club rugby, two sets of trials and for the majority of players at the State Champs match held at nib Stadium on Saturday prior to the Road Safety Western Force match. The squad selected is very strong across all positions but will be challenged through eight intense weeks of training.
