They have a massive problem anyway with the Chairman in situ. He is basically doing the CEO's job and running the joint badly.Me thinks a bunch of candidates vying for Pulver's spot may be wondering if he's going to leave them with a massive problem.
Whoever takes over in what governing body in place next year is going in to the Sanzaar negotiations around Easter time blindsided. The whole Sanzaar charade needs to be wound up.

Spartan, drivel that was written in the SMH.
You can't compare the IPRC to Super League. Super League had desires to prop up expansion countries that have little grassroots. They are still doing it with the expansion to Toronto and possibly NYC. Rugby has the grassroots in these countries that the IPRC is looking at as that is required to get test status. They are also talking to Governments as a way of doing business.

I saw this ignorant post on G & G from a poster who specialises in ignorant posts. It is astounding that people still believe the ARU and SMH spin that Twiggy hasn't put much actual cash in to the Force despite having this explained to them countless times.Twiggy has more money undoubtedly, but people need to question what his liquid assets are, and how much of them he's willing to spend.
Throughout his commitment to rugby, Twiggy has thrown around a lot of time, effort, and numbers, but not too much actual cash.
The Future Force wouldn't have happened without Twiggy as the ARU pulled the rug out of the academies. The Brumbies are only restarting the Brumbies Academy next year.

How much is he willing to spend? Well he’s on record as saying he’s going to spend all of his $5-6billion personal fortune in his lifetime! Not sure any east coasters have said same?!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Twiggy has more money undoubtedly, but people need to question what his liquid assets are, and how much of them he's willing to spend.
Throughout his commitment to rugby, Twiggy has thrown around a lot of time, effort, and numbers, but not too much actual cash.
Twiggy has committed $200 million to this. He is already spending big doing the groundwork to get this thing up and running. Are people in the Eastern Australian region really that retarded they post crap like that?
Liquid assets? $6.5 billion in working capital on yearly earnings of $500 million. He explained all of this explicitly at his presentation to the ARU and the ARUs paid media lackeys.
How much is he willing to spend? He plans on giving away to philanthropy almost all of that $6.5 billion.
You lemmings over East who still can't understand or refuse to understand what sort of operator Twiggy is, better start to get a clue. He is of his word, he is not a Rinehart or a Packer, he is not a hoarder of wealth, he is about community building and a fair go. He took on Rio Tinto and BHP and carved out a nice little earner for himself and the people he employs, the ARU is small fry to him, but as ive stated, he is about community building therefore is trying to engage with the ARU to benefit all Australian Rugby even though he has zero reason to and zero obligation to. He could pull the parochiol card and cut the East off completely, but instead wants to see Australia benefit through World Cup success with WA a key contributor. Doubt him at your own peril.
The News Ltd sites have also gone the negative spin – not reporting the ARU giving consideration to selecting “Force” players for the Wallabies and just saying the timing will likely rule it out. I hope they end up with egg on their faces (not that they'd give a f***).
Sorry, gotta add some balance here. He is also a man who doesn't pay tax or royalties to aboriginal communities and lands his companies are literally blowing up digging out of the ground.
His last name "Forrest" says it all. His wealth comes directly as a result of the fact his family were senior leadership figures and beneficiaries of the British invasion of Western Australia.
While i think his involvement is great. It doesn't take away from his past actions
What misinformed twat dared to write that. Just a couple of answers off the top of my head (without knowing the man personally or having done ANY research to support my statements)
As Kala said $6.5 Billion Dollars, Dividends of $450 Million this year, immediately gave $400Million to UWA to fund cancer research. Committed to giving away his entire fortune in his lifetime.
As for putting money into rugby, he's done plenty of that, Foundation Diamond member, major funding of the Future Force program, Offered to completely underwrite the Force if they were retained, organised the cover of legal fees for the appeal (offered to do it all himself, but was told no by Tony Howarth) $50 Million on the table with a binding agreement which the ARU refused to sign. Offering to sponsor the NRC because the ARU said no to buildcorp's money.....what money has he put in? Hard to say, this organisation is very fond of claiming to be approaching insolvency, but they are pretty bloody good at refusing to take money!
It's the same as the earlier article which implied that he hadn't even been to a Force game.......that's complete bullshit!
When will these "journalists" be held to account for the libellous tripe they print trashing Twiggy with baseless accusations.
C'mon the
Jono If you are after some balance then you need to do your homework on Forrest & any other mining person/company. They pay tax & royalties and you'll find all mines have agreements to pay/support local communities (whether aboriginal or not), but the issue with FMG is the agreement back in the day wasnt as good for the aboriginal communities as it should have been. And every western Australian gets benefit from the taxes/royalties he & his companies pay and if FMG didnt spend the time & money to find a way to blow up/dig out of the ground a lot of people miss out on jobs, taxes & royalties.
I cant speak to his families history but it would seem he has done a hell of a lot more then other filthy rich Aussies in his time.
