I'm pretty sure Fourie's plan was not to play unless absolutely necessary. I would reckon, since our centres have been going OK he will probably stick to coaching for another week. If we get rolled Saturday he might suit up for the Saders.
some of the others should be pushing for a game though.

When is Iona's call-up? Is he missing for this game, or was it the Crusaders match only?
Matching Brache with Pisi (or even Pisi & Taefu for an all-Samoan centre pairing) would still let Fourie be the coach.
Does anyone know how Rod Davies and Peter Grant are after their knocks in the first couple of games? Uyen, Lacey & Brache can be versatile in their positions, but it might stretch our stocks at the back.
I have been impressed with our defense so far. It's usual for sides to take a while to gel defensively (a perennial problem for the Barbarians), but we've generally looked pretty good straight out of the box this year, so Fourie might be a defensive genius!

As usual, I'm thinking with my stomach.
As with the Thai food fete last time, there is a Burmese Food Fair on the Saturday of the game, it's nearby, at the corner of Stirling and Bulwer Streets. Food tends to run out around 12pm though, so it's too early for the kick-off; but it's a good place to stock up on kahti rolls and samosas for the game!
