by Beth Newman
Rugby's players' boss Ross Xenos is moving to club land, joining the Rebels as general manager - commercial and marketing.
Xenos, who has been Rugby Union Players' Association (RUPA) CEO since 2015, will start with the club in August,
The Rebels have been slowly restructuring their corporate areas since Baden Stephenson took on the CEO role last year, and Xenos's appointment the latest.
Xenos had worked across a number of roles in RUPA, before succeeding Greg Harris as CEO, becoming just the fourth head of the organisation.
It is unclear who will take over from Xenos at RUPA, though that process will begin in the coming weeks.
“Ross is highly respected, professional and comes with a very strong network," Stephenson said.
"We look forward to Ross driving our commercial pillars which includes many exciting strategies in the local community, regional, interstate and overseas.”

Is that as a thank you for saying sweet FA while the Force was shafted?
May the FORCE be with you!
With Xenos and Clarke there now, all I can see is a "Confidentiality Clause" in the contract to stop them from giving any further evidence in any future investigation.

Tim Cherry was appointed GM Commercial at Rebels land in Nov 2017 - Is he staying? Or is this position now expanded to GM Commercial and Marketing? Does Tim Cherry now report to Ross?

They're being a bit overconfident in believing they have a future business that will continue past the next year or 2.

If/when ASIC come through within that period that may have a detrimental effect on being allowed to stay running - when the shit hits the proverbial.
