So confirming what we all knew that the Perth Spirit is no more ...
Presumably RugbyWA now get to keep the Welborn-Hodgson Shield as a perpetual trophy.
That would be right - just to prove that ARU/RA hate me.
No Western Force game in Sydney. Bastards!

Damn! That Drua game could have been a repeat of our opening WSR game at NIB!

Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
If we keep getting the crowds for the Force as we are in WSR; and if we keep up the advertising blitz; then surely UWA Sports Park is going to be too small for the NRC?
Maybe they really should think of integrating the NRC into the WSR ad campaign and continue to play at NIB? Or what about one of the soccer grounds? Litis Stadium or Frank Drago Reserve with a couple of temporary stands added?
I'm happy to pay for a ticket.

Hopefully they've had a hard think about what they want the NRC to be relative to WSR. Is it a continuation of the same team, or a training ground for the next? Are they looking to dominate and humiliate, or are they going to play nice? Are they going to see it out to 2020 and hope for the best, or is there a longer strategy?
Will be interesting.
I would like it to be a chance for others in the squad getting a chance for game time to develop with a sprinkling of our regular Force guys. At the same time would love to see the Force blitz the comp just to rub RA noses in it. And I guess we’re going to cop all those bloody useless refs again aka Anal Angus who destroyed that last NRC game at McGilvray that time.
Why can't it be both? Shove it up ras arse with a predominantly fringe squad.

Let's just blitz the comp and then run around in the WA media parading our premiership trophy.

I'm not being facetious or disrepectful when asking this, but who is the "we" in this scenario? Is it Minderoo or RugbyWA? I'm just curious as to whether big crowds for the NRC would make a profit, or are the current WSR games currently in the red?
If so, are there negotiations in place for a cheaper stadium next season?

I wonder whether we'd get the crowds.
I guess if it was promoted as a continuation of the wsr series it might fly, but anuybody who's following it seriously would know the difference.
There's also no guarantee we'd beat a full strength drua atm.
