or supposedly also at sa.rugby
Some details of the 8-team comp are here
Perth Gold playing strongly in their semi against SA Black Falcons.
Their challenge will probably come in the final Sunday against NSW Country (so that two games against NSW Country this Sunday)
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Would be good.
But we've got the Force kick off at (I believe) 1pm Perth time, then Gold kickoff at 2pm Perth time (assuming they stick to the original program - the NT team didn't make the tourney so not sure if there's any reshuffling of times)...
So there's a bit of an overlap but should be possible to catch most of both via streaming.*
(And obvs the former from Pt Macquarie and the latter via Radelaide)
*Wallabies v Wales is at 3.45 pm AWST

Nice big cup for the RugbyWA trophy cabinent, to hopefully go with the NRC toast rack, and GRR trohpies.
Not sure if we gave the Horan-Litlle Shield away today.?
(A team that holds the Shield is required to put it up for challenge at every home fixture. They are not obliged to accept challenges for away fixtures, though they may choose to do so.
If a team has successfully defended two challenge matches since becoming the Shield holder, then that team's subsequent matches, home or away, become automatic challenges. The Shield holder at the end of the regular season (or after a finals match where the holder chose to put the Shield up for challenge) becomes the only team whose name is engraved on the Shield as winner for that season.)
Well done Perth Spirit!
Yes, we had to hand over the Horan-Little Shield yesterday :-(
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
That Horan-Little Shield rule has buggered us two years running. Ah well.
Does the shield get defended in the finals? If not, doesn't mean that NSW Country Eagles have their name on it already? Their last two games of the home-and-away season are away from home.
