"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa

Without any exposure to Free to air the sport will struggle to take off. It needs to be on a channel where people can accidently stumble onto the channel, let it peak their interests, and then maybe start following the sport.
The problem with Kayo is that people open the app specifically to watch certain sports, they dont tend to casual watch sporting events they arent familiar with.
On top of that having it free online has the same impact as above, someone who doesnt follow GRR isnt going to go seeking the sport out on the website unless they are deliberatly putting it on to follow or watch.
If it was on a foxsports channel then people would accidently stumble on it and may watch a bit of it and then start to follow it, its the same theory is having it on Free to air TV, it may peak peoples interests enough for them to start following it from accidently changing onto the channel its on.
I mean its fantastic that it is available for free and available through the website etc but a shame it hasnt found its way on Free to Air where all the real ratings apparently are or the potential to grow a sport lies.
