THAT'S what it was? I thought it was the Wallabies loss to Samoa back in 2011 that did that.Originally Posted by Georgina Robinson

Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
RugbyWA is in an extremely strong position to come out of this relatively unscathed financially. The modelling they did early doors is even being adopted by other member unions! They are negotiating with Venues West for rent relief and are investigating all the government grants and programs available for staff, and working with partners to meet expectations for 2020 and beyond.
RA funding - which was a pittance anyway - is likely to cease but that shouldn’t be a problem.
Junior clubs should be fine as most are integrated with a senior club that is a member of the WARU.
Irrespective of the financial clusterfuck that is RA, WA rugby at both senior and junior level can only go from strength to strength.
Long live the Republic of Westralia!!

I wonder..if RA do go under, could we buy back the IP from the receivers for some token amount..?
The value of the IP was reduced to $0 in the RA accounts for 2018.
If it’s not already been handed back to WARU for free, it damn well should be!!
