"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa

Good preview
Interesting we have the most super rugby and international caps.
Be nice if he mentioned Michael McDonald was a WA lad.

Just saw this comment on the video:
Also, Henry Stowers has joined Newcastle Wildfires in the NSW Shute Shield. Not sure if he was offered a new contract with the Force.
Surely that can't be right?! I thought he'd left to go closer to family because of COVID, so I'd assumed NZ or Samoa.
If he is just in Newcastle and happy to come back, we should be trying to do so ASAP. He was an absolute machine last year, and we're lacking depth in the backrow.
Ditto. I thought we were pretty OK there. Stander was his usual workaholic self in the trial. I thought Koteka looked better - and he was ok before he went away. Then there's the promising Anstee, Lezana with 37 caps and F L-W who hopefully will play more backrow when we secure the two extra locks that are in the pipeline.

Andrew played some lock in the trial as well didn't he, or was I just mixing up new faces?
C'mon the
Anstee? Yes. He was in the first team. Personally, I think he's better suited to 6.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
If Stander gets injured, I don't think we really have another suitable replacement at 8.
If we do manage to get Enever and Thrush is good to go, then FLW could cover 6 as well, but otherwise I doubt he'll move out of the second row because our depth there is somewhat lacking as well.
Anstee and Callan sound promising but relatively untried at this level.
Whereas Stowers was one of the best backrowers in the comp last year.
Fingers crossed we don't have injury problems and all is good, but if Stowers is available I'm surprised we're not trying to get him.

Fair. I guess the idea is looking for stander to be durable and replacing him with the best of our plethora of 7 and 6 options.
Fergus would probably be the one I'd pick to cover 8 in a pinch and that means they need to find more people than him to play some lock if required.it would explain anstee being there in the trial.
C'mon the
From what i've heard from around the traps that Henry and a few others that had their contracts not renewed enjoyed a bit of partying and some attitudes weren't exactly up to scratch compared to some of the team values. Apparently.
