After 7 rounds the ladder is finally starting to sort out the haves and the have not's. Only 2 points separate the Top four of UWA (25pts), Wests (24), Nedlands (24) and Kalamunda (23).
Surprise package Wanneroo (17) sit in 5th, preseason favorites Paly (16) in 6th with Cottesloe (14) just behind.
The final 8th place is hotly contested by Baysie, Cavs, Lions and Soaks while ARKS, Joondalup and win less Curtin are in danger of being left behind.
A lot at stake over the next 7 rounds in what is looking like being the most competitive top 8 in a number of seasons!
Nedlands only just hung on against Wanneroo
I do. Really enjoying watching the Bulls come along this year. Will be an interesting season end.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
Bulls went down to a much better prepared Soaks backline. Gee where did their ten come from, looks more like a club back rower

I think he is JP Sauni. Wasn't he there last year?If it's him he was with the Waratahs and I heard he has been picked for Samoa this year
JP Sauni plays hooker, the 5/8 is Taulogo Lalaga very sharp player who plays anywhere in the backs and has played Shute Shield for 4 seasons and he's only 22, tore Wests to bits, bloody solid lad
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
Awesome to see Community Rugby with the biggest "open" field in decades. Good to see clubs outside the "triangle" compete and challenge for finals.
