Hegarty has reportedly signed a one-season deal at Western Force, who have been active in their recruitment recently. The Perth side signed Curtis Rona from London Irish as well as former Brumbies and Wallabies hooker Folau Fainga’a, Chiefs flyer Chase Tiatia, Rebels back-rower and captain Michael Wells and second-rower Jeremy Williams from the Waratahs.
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
To be honest I think this is a bit of circular reporting.
I expect the Merc saw the story in the West yesterday on Hegarty that referenced Rona seeking an exit from his contract and being linked with the Force, then turned that into "fact" that he had signed for us as well.
I hope the Rona signing is legit. Thats something worth getting excited about.

Robertson went okay in the Aus As. I have a feeling he started out on the TH side. I wasn't a big fan of Medrano, so I figure it's worth a crack.
Sio and Rona would be awesome. It'd really add to two areas of need.
A Bench player seems like a detrimental term. And back a while it probably was.
"You weren't good enough to make the first 15. But we have a spot for you on the bench."
Nowadays. Modern teams, Successful teams refer to the bench players as replacements or Finishers. Players who are able to give their all for the team for the last 20-40 minutes. To punch that final nail in the opposition's coffin.
It's all about perspective.

Has there been any official word about Curtis Rona's move to the Force?
