Matt Phillip with Rodda fit would possibly the best lock pair in the Australian Super Rugby sides. I wouldn't want to stop the development of our young guys, though.
Hardwick is a nuggety bastard. He'd provide a very good option for our back-row, but it's not an area where we are lacking.
Louwrens probably wouldn't get a game with White and Fines-Leleiwasa fit, but he'd be a decent injury cover.
Nick Jooste likewise wouldn't get many games, but covers a number of spots for injuries.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Now that you name the 4
Phillip would make the starting 15 (or at least fight Williams hard for the spot)
Hardwick would lock up a bench spot
Jooste would knock Poolman out of the 23
Louwrens would keep prior in a suit.
Yeah I'd take all 4

Where is Pulu?
With a 6/2 bench you have to cover as many back positions as possible with your 2. Prior covers 9, and has played 10, too. Fines could be moved to the wing with Prior coming on if required. Stewart could cover 10 as well. Poolman can cover 11-15, possibly moving Tiatia to the centres while Poolman goes to fullback (Tiatia's played centre before). Pulu only really covers the wings, so isn't as useful when you may have to juggle positions mid-match.

I'd prefer a 5/3 bench really. It's not like the we're playing a monster South African pack, or like we haven't had games with multiple injuries to players where only 2 replacement backs might become a problem.
And surely no way you'd leave Pulu out of the 23 after his performance last week. But hopefully that is actually the case, and he isn't injured yet again.
I'm pretty sure I wrote one of my typically longwinded, rambling posts about this in response to the suggestion that Rodda would be fit this week and determined that the backline could be covered with Prior and Pulu.
I hope that Simon Cron thinks I know shit all about rugby, because the other option is that Toni is injured.

Wells now needs to read the play and not opt for scrums. Gibbon is giving to Amone
Now that was a nice piece of attacking
Shit, another blady flyhalf down.
Why do we have so many problems with the rebels scrum?
Please tell me Burey is ok!
