Wallabies assistant coach Brad Davis will not be on the departing flight to France on Thursday.
According to The Roar, Eddie Jones' off-sider has quit due to personal reasons on the day the team will leave for the Rugby World Cup.
Rugby Australia told ESPN Davis will return to the United Kingdom to deal with a personal matter.

Before the club hit financial troubles, Davis had been on secondment from London Irish to Rugby Australia to work with the Wallabies.
Davis was announced as the Wallabies attack coach in May but is said to be disillusioned with the coaching environment under Jones.
The former English Premiership defence coach is reportedly in line to join Super Rugby Pacific outfit the Queensland Reds as its defence coach under Les Kiss.
The pair have a previous relationship having worked together at London Irish, Davis as Kiss' assistant coach.
It's a startling revelation less than weeks out from their warm-up match against France.
More to come.

Ryles is set to coach the Melbourne Storm once incumbent Craig Bellamy retires from his post.
"I would like to thank Brad for his efforts this year, and we wish him all the best for his future," said Wallabies head coach Jones.
"Jason is the most sought-after coach in the NRL. He will add immensely to our coaching staff and help prepare the players to win the Rugby World Cup.
"We are thrilled to have him join the team."
It marks a reunion between the two coaches. Ryles worked as Jones' assistant coach when he steered England in his previous role.

Yeah, what's with all these outfits hiring Mungos. Everyone knows they don't have the IQ to understand such an intricate sport.
