Sage I don't think anyone here, well those that have known you for a while, would question your loyalty to your team. Nor the fact that whilst you have passion for your team it has never clouded your judgement and you have always presented a well argued case for or against what ever the issue. Your a good guy to go to the Rugby with.
Its a shame not all supporters (from all teams) are like that.
Why is it that Western Australians worry about what other people think? Why is it that important? Media look after their own markets. Greg Growden writes for the Sydney Morning Herald - he is paid to write about Rugby from a NSW perspective. Whether he does a good job or a bad job is irrelevant.
Whilst the Australian Newspaper has an Australia wide distribution - how many papers are sold in WA compared to Brisbane, or Sydney or Canberra. Their reporters write for the majority. That doesn't make it right - its just business.
There is no Eastern States Bias - its just reporters writing for their own markets.

I don't believe so. People who buy their local newspaper would predominantly be interested in Local content. some may call it bias others would call it writing for the local market.
If you were living in Esperance and you purchased the local Esperance Newspaper, would you want to read about Esperance news? Or would you rather read about Port Headland news?

It sure does when powerful individuals use it to push their own agendas. Just look at the case of WA & SA AFL franchises who've had to prosper despite it. It's going on right now with the Vics trying to introduce a reserves comp because they are envious of the player production lines that are the WAFL & SANFL.
I don't want to buy into the whole Bias argument, but what is the coverage like in the Australian newspaper or on the Foxtel rugby show???
