At the beginning of the season there was some talk about a convoluted splitting system in the comp with relegation/ elevation involved. I didn't understand it then and still don't.
Now I see the rugbywa site has the second round of season fixtures listed on their website exactly the same as the first round.
Will there be relegation or not? When will Kwinana, Ellenbrook, etc compete against the bottom part of the premier division to earn elevation? Do they even want it?
Or is the plan just to eliminate the bye by dropping the bottom team, or the bottom 3 teams, to allow an 8 team Premier Grade comp?
A little clarity/better management of the rugbywa website or even, God forbid, transparency, would be appreciated.
So you don't know either ....
After you have called HQ, please inform us all
From my limited understanding there is no promotion relegation at the end of the season despite the ridiculous and convoluted league system. Don't forget the competition was changed during last season to keep University from relegation. No juniors, therefore not allowed to play Premier Grade, therefore instant bottom of the ladder and relegation. Anyone else here surprised it didn't happen?
where is rumour monger when you need him?
