With the force appearing to having so many halfbacks, has Chris O'Young got any chance of making it in the top side. I think he is the best half in the club, but if they are not going to utilise him why not send him back to Eastwood where he would slip nicely into the Waratahs
It is certainly a big ask for O'Young to break through in '07 foxman, especially following an injury interupted '06 however, as they say, he's only a couple of injuries away.
If Mitchell insists on not trialling Gits at the scrum base then O'Young should start on the bench however, I am told that McGrath out performed Henjak during a couple of ACT Club seasons.
If O'Young does end up needing a new home he would be currently better served to go to the Reds or Brumbies as the Waratahs already have three very strong contenders for the #9 in Valentine, Sheehan and Holmes.

:O o'young. better then henjack! when mitchell dropped henjack i was so happy seeing the best halfback playing. he has got a better/quicker pass thge henjack. so there should be no reason why he wont start on the bench.
henjak, not henjack!!
Probably find it's Henjak![]()

shutup. seriously. i make lots of spell mistakes sorry. fine, from now on i wont touch type. ull see no more spelling mistakes!
I don't think Gits will be employed at 9, by the Force or Wallabies. I agree that on last years form that O'Young was the best half we had.
And I think that this year he could break into the top side. Henjak appeared to have a long leash last year but I think that was more due to the fact that he had more experience and the Force suffered such a huge injury toll on its backline.
This year there will be bigger expectations so the pressure will be on. If Henjak performs poorly early on O'Young could well get his chance. He got noticed last year by knuckles so its not like we are the only ones who thought he was donig well...
The Force backline make-up should be very interesting we have genuine depth at pretty much every position.

Incompetent isn't the right word... But its the first one that comes to mind.

i hope oyoung gets dropped a few times during home games. then he will play for pallyiv met oyoung on numorous occasions and he is one of the nices/down to earth guys i know. when he came down to the pally juniors carnival you wouldnt have been able to tell he was a force player. he fits in well with crowd. well if he doesnt break in pally gets him if he does force gets him. win/win situation for me

Signed with Glasgow Warriors after the 2007 Super 14 season.
Well I think this tells us O'Young is sick of being backup scrumhalf, big lose to the Force. On the field he has a little more flare then Henjak.
Go The Force!
henjak is way better than oyoung. henjak just passes it out of the ruck but oyoung runs out of every ruck and passes it.
henjak is better.

Not wanting to be a fence sitter but i think both bring some solid talent to the number nine jersey. However on a personal note, i like Henjak as scrumhalf because he's a bit bigger, provides a good combo with Giteau and his defence can be absolutely sterling at times. Guess that latter comment means im not really fence sitting huh?![]()
