Michael Owen insists Wales' critics were wrong in their assessment of the defeat to Ireland.{br}{br}View the Entire Article{br}
Michael manages to prove in this article he is as useless at journalism as he is at No8.
Of course we would expect him to stand by his team but blind faith is what he is displaying here. Everyone watching could see how out of sorts the Peacock was once thrown on to replace a very good Stephen Jones, clearly the orange one was not fit and out of position and that was why he should not have been on the bench in the first place...me thinks Scott Johnson may be allowed to join JC in Oz without too much fight after that pathetic selection decision..I can hear the cheers of bring back Ruddock from here.
He seems to have forgotten that the game against Scotland was when they played 14 men and therefore not a fair judge of how Wales have improved since the thrashing at Twickenham and to say that the first 20 minutes against Ireland was the best yet only puts the rest of the welsh performance in its rightful place...rubbish.
MO would have been better to accept the critisim on the chin without the need to respond and agree that the better side won...they do that sometimes!
