Does anyone have news of Shep's injury and how long it may cost him out of the game? He will be a big loss having been one of our star perfomers this season. He was a certainty for a Wallaby spot and I hope he still is. Would someone post as soon as there is any news?
having scans today.watch sportal and force website and if you have fox sports news they will report the results as soon as they hear it.
i hope shep's allright, surely he was a certainty for a wallabies spot in the domestic tests/tri-nations. You could tell he'd done it too. Lets hope it's not too bad and for a quick recovery
Word from the dressing room in Canberra was that Sheps injury was not as bad as first thought and that the injury was "deep"
"deep"?

Didn't sound too flash on the news tonight, would expect him to miss at least the Cheetahs match from the tone.

Anxious Shepherd's season in the balance
21/04/2007 3:47 PM
In-form winger Cameron Shepherd will learn on Sunday if he will be available for the Wallabies' season-opening Test against Wales after limping off with a knee injury in the Western Force's heartbreaking Super 14 loss to the Brumbies on Friday night.
In a double dose of disappointment for Shepherd and the Force, the competition's leading point scorer was hurt in the 62nd minute of the 14-12 defeat at Canberra Stadium.
Shepherd will have an MRI scan on his return to Perth but appears certain to at least be consigned to some time on the sidelines.
The Force's next match is against the Cheetahs in Perth on Friday night.
Australia's standout winger and leading tryscorer in the 2007 tournament, Shepherd just hopes the injury is not serious enough to rule him out of contention for the Wallabies' May 26 Test against Wales in Sydney.
"Let's just keep our fingers crossed. We'll get that scan and we don't know how acute it is," Force coach John Mitchell said.
Force spokesman Tom Baddeley said one positive for Shepherd was that the injury was to his left leg, not the right knee which has been causing the 23-year-old some trouble in recent weeks.
"Shep's spirits are a bit more positive today than after the game," Baddeley said before the Force flew out for Perth.
"I'd be surprised if he plays next week (against the Cheetahs), but I have to emphasise I'm no expert. That's from a non-medical viewpoint."
Shepherd's injury only added to the Force's misery after a 79th-minute penalty goal from winger Mark Gerrard snatched victory for the Brumbies.
Their third straight defeat relegated the Force to seventh place and they now must secure bonus-point victories on Friday and against the Blues the following week and hope other results go their way to reach the semi-finals.
"We're still in with a chance," a defiant Mitchell said.
"We go home now and we will have to win those matches, but we've grabbed a bonus point here so that keeps us hanging in there.
"We're not a side that's just going to hand it to anyone."
The Force had leaked 117 points, including 17 tries, in back-to-back losses to the Chiefs and Crusaders but only conceded one try - to hooker Jeremy Paul just before halftime - despite spending 20 minutes playing with only 14 men after captain Nathan Sharpe and centre Ryan Cross were both sin-binned.

Get well soon
Yeah Krusher, in the Airport interview Shep refered to it being "a good thing" as it was the other one, meaning it may be a quicker rehab.
