The reason I think it is a farce is that this government has no instrest in the Landegout proposal otherwise there would have been some provision in the budget for it.

Guessing/hoping/praying that RugbyWa is going to call on its supporters to do some screaming for an upgrade to ME for about $100 million and the Weagles get another stand for about $100 million (plus all that rental income from the Dockers and us for the occasional international )

that would leave about $800 million change which makes Carpenter look good and Landgnout an idiot

either that or the coach has cashed in all Beavers vcash in the hope of paying for the stadium himself

The question is are the Glory Fans in as much need of a Rectangular Stadium as we are? Will the Glory Fans be willing to stand along side us to make our case known? Do we know any Glory Fans?

Nothing new about the information released in that article as far as the rectangular stadium is concerned. We have already been told that the idea was going to be to phase the building of the stadiums and as far as recommending that the rectangular stadium be shelved for several years then I take that as journalistic BS.

Let's wait and see what the report actually says, then let the battle begin.

Unfortunately from what I hear the current size of ME suits the Glory as their numbers have slumped.
Not saying that it isn't worth pursuing though as the new ownership there will hopefully lift attendances considerably and perhaps be interested financially too.
