Wallabies utility back Adam Ashley-Cooper has signed a four-year deal with the Australian Rugby Union and the ACT Brumbies.
Ashley-Cooper is now contracted until the 2011 World Cup.
The 23-year-old has played seven times for the Wallabies and scored a vital try in the Bledisloe Cup victory over New Zealand late last month.
Great. now all he has to do is get a new hair cut, buy some drugs and get really pissed before turning up late at training and he'll be a shoe-in for selection..![]()
It makes him only one of 2 players committed to the Brumbies past the 2009 season, which along with 13 players coming off contract after next season is a bit worrying.
Adore this life
There is no guarantee
Could end by tomorrow
Don't worry too much Evie, all S14 teams have a lot of players finishing contracts 12 - 18 month after RWC07. The Brumbies also have a good develpment program, the ARC and ARS comps will also be a new breeding ground. You'll see guys like AAC become the "old guard" and lots of pretty young faces from 08 onwards
