James..are Perth Gold coming back through Adelaide and playing the SA Falcons at Brighton Rugby Club?
so the WA team has two academy players on the bench???!! that must be showing that WA is building some depth"?
hey yeh the boys are back homewas actually 3 academy players on the bench against VIC. All the games were played in good spirit and from the sounds of it they showed that club rugby in Perth is on the rise!! the game against Brumbies Presidents XV was played at a very high level. The ref " Brett? Bowden" said the first half was as quick or quicker than than some 14 games he's ref'd. If anyone can track down the canberra news paper im sure theres a little right up in there !
hmmm cant find the link...one of the articles is on this site posted by burgsbut yeh the one they put in the newspaper was classic....pretty much saying there breakdown was dominated but there backs dominated Gold tsk tsk
I have paid little or no attention to the Perth Gold in the past so findin it hard to understand the improvement. Compared to past tours how are we doing?
Just happy to be here

They haven't really toured in the past as they have competed in the Australian Rugby Shield.
In this tournament they had good win loss ratio. Super coach Dez Thornton (Curtin Uni's coach) spent a long time bringing the team to very high standard.
