Obviously Idon't know and am a little worried. They are in a must win to survive situation, and have just come off a confidence boosting win against Wanneroo after losing narrowly to Perth.
A win to Palmyra isn't quite as critical, but they must push for it to regain second spot and a double chance in the finals.
Palmyra will of course have the home ground advantage and a full compliment of players whereas Wests have lost at least one of their stars, Elliot Kuhlman- Hall to a shoulder injury.
All in all it should be an entertaining game, and hopefully Rick Boyd will report futher on the prospects by chosing it as the match of the round.
Palmyra are trying to arrange for the fixture to be played much earlier than the scheduled 3.15 pm start so that everyone can watch the Bledisloe Cup game, which will be shown on the big screen. We'll see what happens.
Set up a tab Gerry!
goood coz the one f@ckin day channel 7 do it live. it is at an annoying time.
The first grade will start at the usual time of 3.15pm. Wests 1st grade were given the option of starting earlier to watch the Bledisloe Cup live at 3.30pm but didn't want to change it.
The Wests boys are focused on their own game and switched on in a MUST win game to stay in the finals race!!!
Watch out Paly ...
Eels is right, Wests wont change the starting time, something to do with players work commitments apparently, or at least that's the reason given.
No matter.
Sixth grade against Joondalup has been brought forward to 1.40 PM by agreement between the clubs.
Alas, Rugby WA choose the match of the round, and this week it's 2 v 3, Kalamunda v Perth-Bayswater.Originally Posted by fulvio sammut

Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Fair call Rick, I overlooked the top four clash.
I've read your article which is pretty much on the money.
However there is also another outcome, ladder- wise; Perth win without a bonus point and Palmyra win with a bonus point- result- Palmyra jump Perth on the ladder, and, mathematically, possibly take second spot on percentages!
I know, highly unlikely.
Just to cheer you up.
Re Coach's post: only if Palmyra win!!
