Been doing a bit of number crunching on the source Clubs for the eight ARC teams.
It becomes clearer why Sydney Uni is such a dominant Club.
This is using the Western Australian Clubs for the Perth Spirit players and Jon McGrath but not for Cummins and Fardy. Ioane is now listed as a Sunnybank QRU player.
Three players are listed as having no Club.
Rod Moore, Rays, returns from England.
Van Humphries, Rams, is heading south from Queensland and the Reds.
Fa’atonu Fili, Rams, has come over from New Zealand to try his luck.
To my knowledge there are still six positions to be filled for the Rebels, with hopefully some local content to be involved as currently all Squad Members are from interstate.

Thanks for that Burgs.
given the states respective sizes, in terms of player pool to draw from, it looks like WA has a respectable representation.
I'll admit that most of those are still likely to be players who learnt in NSW/QLD but this is where they call home. I'd be happy for the Spirit to finish in the top 6.
I've also done a line up of the probable Squads hopep (stay tuned for that) and to be perfectly honest I would be disappointed if we aren't in the Final!
We have a far deeper and more balanced Squad than all of the rest with our only apparent weakness in our Locks.
The entire strongest starting XV will be Super 14 players or S14 in '08, compared to only half the run on side of most of the teams.
Baring major injury worries or deliberately exposing our junior players for experience rather than victory, I'll be surprised if we don't win it.
