What a difference a week makes. I wouldn't have given Cott. a snowballs chance of coming within five converted tries of Nedlands, yet they almost pulled it off, losing by a couple or so points, reportedly scored in the dying minutes.
It certainly says a lot for the Cottesloe spirit; they won't accept that they are dead until a wooden stake is driven through their heart.
I expect Palmyra to win this Saturday, but Cottesloe will make it very hard for them, there will be no favours asked or given.
Palmyra in the end result have not suffered much in the loss of players to the ARC, they haven't had Ratu all season anyway, and the kicking skills of Jason Burke and the tremendous form of Tony Alatini have more than compensated for the loss of James Stannard at five eight. As far as I am aware Cott have only lost one player to the ARC.
I pick it as Palmyra by ten points.
