Should the Wallabies be subjected to a curfew during the World Cup?

I think the whole team should have a standard curfew, not just some members.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

They are adults for god's sake - no curfew, no alcohol ban - but they should have very definite guidelines with very real penalties if they step over the line.

What's the difference between "very definite guidelines" and an as yet unspecified curfew Coach?

Maybe, maybe not.
The curfew is "in principle", it doesn't actually state a time or any other detail until agreed upon.
Basically to me it comes down to can 30 adults be trusted to act like the professionals they are paid to be for a whole Tour or do they need "encouragement" to act in a sensible manner.
The later you (the pro sportsman) are up into the wee hours of the morning the more likely you are to be involved in a headline of some description and the less likely you are to be able to give 100% effort to the task at hand, ie winning the World Cup.
On current (last couple of years, not just this week) evidence it would seem that not all 30 individuals currently selected realise that?

Why not develop a Players' Code of Conduct - developed by the (more clever) players in the squad - that's what England did and what has served the Force well over the last couple of years.
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Thats what they need. A Players' Code of Conduct. That's where the players decide what time all squad members will be back at the hotel at night and if anyone blows over 0.0???? at morning training there are penalties.Originally Posted by JediKnight

A Code of Conduct sort of like:
1: Don't bring home people who might beat us up
2: No serious drinking until we beat the Kiwis
3: Don't talk to Grumbles
4: Don't been seen in the bra tshirt unless you are playing

Curfew should only apply to the Tah's players. Honestly, I can't wait to see what Lote and Dunning get up to next![]()
Yes they should, as all touring teams do, have curfews.
Very simple guidelines, back in hotel by X, up and packed by Y, down at the bus by Z.
Curfews have been involved in every tour I've been on for all sports played.
Every team will have such rules, so the "Tubby & Tuqiri" roadshow is a side-show.
