Well do you?
Bring it up with John Howard then.
http://www.pm.gov.au/contact/index.cfm
The government have just announced a slush fund and those plonkers in this useless state government have asked for the money to put into their crappy stadium.
Well I have email and asked him to invest in a rectangular stadium to give international exposure and encourage people to visit from overseas and interstate.
Not only that it will bring employment and business now and for years to come.
Let's face it Rugby has been going for 100 years here in Perth and around the world!
Give me a Rugby Stadium!!!
Brother Gallagher I hear you
I don't believe J Ho's interested in anything west of the NSW border.

Subject: Rectangular Rugby Stadium
Comment: Mr. Howard like you I am a fan of the Wallabies. In less than 2 weeks
my family and I are off to the Rugby World Cup in France to enjoy the Rugby
atmosphere and support the Wallabies. I am really looking forward to this trip and
have every confidence in the Green and Gold to come through for 3rd time since
the tournaments inception.
However, my problem is once the tournament is over I will be dreading returning
to Western Australia. Why? Well there is no place now or on my return or in
the foreseeable future for Rugby Union to showcase itself here in Perth. Bring
that wonderful feeling and atmosphere that only Rugby Union can produce. The
state government is determined to build this ridiculous multi-purpose stadium which
even the Australian Rules Football teams are unhappy with, never mind the
other sports that are not suited to oval pitch.
As Rugby Union is an international sport which has be played here for over 100
years, regular Wallaby fixtures, of course Western Force and new national team
the Perth Spirit fixtures all happen here right now. On top of this there is of
course the Perth Glory that plays in the national A league and shortly the
Western Reds will be joining the Sydney Rugby League competition.
All this adds up to national and international exposure and thousands of
tourist travelling from overseas and interstate to Perth and Australia. Bring
valuable employment and business now and for many years into the future.
This obviously is beyond the state governments comprehension and clearly they
have no concept of what huge opportunities and potential these sports can bring.
Today I read about your announcement to invest in Sporting facility projects.
Perhaps a rectangular stadium that is suitable to showcase these internationals
sport could fall under the umbrella of the project fund.
Is there a person that I can speak to who would be able decide whether this
request could come within the requirements of that fund?
Thank you for reading this and the use of your valuable time.
Brother Gallagher I hear you
i hope he reads our comments or hears about all of the rugby stadium ones from whatever tool reads them.
In two weeks i'm heading over to Canberra for stage one of a massive youth summit as WA's rep. Basically it is a forum for us to bring up youth issues and state issues with the federal government. I've got meetings scheduled with JH and Rudd and god knows who else, plus the open forums. I get to set my own agenda obviously and well i want to put this on it....
So if anyone's got anything to say let me here it. Maybe i can provide a voice for us all?

Yeah i was considering asking Gerard if he wanted to offer any advice given how young, inexperienced and ignorant i am...Originally Posted by Flamethrower

Federal Seat of Swan is the most marginal in the country - anyone with an address in Swan pls email the PM - 100 votes either way could swing that seat note Peter Garreth was hanging out there today.Originally Posted by tragic
Costello announced a surplus of $17.3 billion for the last year i.e. loose change - going on the governments current spending in the West we must be due for 1/17th of it and 1/34th of it would upgrade ME very nicely
