2 unexpected defeats last night - which is worse?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
At least the French know how to score tries.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
it is the courage to continue that counts.

Personally the Wallabies losing to England is worse. Being stuck in England I am going to have to put up with everyone talking about the rise of the red rose and how great England are and how they never say die in England and blah blah blah. But I think generally New Zealand losing to France hurts more, this is the comp where they have been the strongest favourites and its also the comp where they have done worst. We have 3 or 4 other sports (which incidentally we have beat England in the last big tournament/game) to fall back on; cricket (Ashes/WC), rugby league (Tri-Nations), soccer (I think the last friendly was 2003 and we beat England 3-1 in London). New Zealand don't have that and have to wait another 4 years for an opportunity to get their pride back. At least they will have the home advantage.
England beating Australia - because I'm Scottish, my bloke's Australian, France is my second team, and as James said, the coverage over here of the English win is going to be unbearable. That's enough reasons, I reckon!
Keeping the Faith ... right here in Perth!
It's always worse when your team loses.
The good news is.....
Fiji defeating SA
"Remember lads, rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to ..........."
I really felt for a few of those older guys. Greegs and Bernie finishing up, however, I reckon there might be 1 or 2 more who may end up leaving soon as well.

Well done England, great power display by the forwards. In a battle of the scrums there was only going to be one winner. The props were outstanding. Australia showed promise on several occasions and when they got the quick ball out of the scrum they were able to run the ball and showed their class.
The French at home will be another tough game. With the results this weekend the Tournament and the tipping is wide open.
England beating Australia by far the worse. Was gutted on saturday night and was hung over most of yesterday as a result. The kiwis losing just makes it slightly bearable, especilly when i go back to work next week
France defeating NZ was great! I had money on NZ being kicked out in the quarters before the World Cup started. Balanced out what I lost on the Wallabies being kicked out too!
Laugh and the world laughs with you.......
......cry and you'll weaken your beer
I dont care, the forwards gave it to each other. There was more blood than a WWE cage match. That big french dude is my hero! yeah!
The backs are just there to look pretty
Nice to see the Aussies have joined the Pommie journalists in gloating over an AB lose ... onya guys make's me proud to come from Downunder. Off to see what other bollocks I can find on the net Stephen Jones must have a new article by now surely.
