I assume with a 1.10am kickoff Saturday morning this is too late for somewhere like the Leederville to show it?
Where would be a good spot to watch the game? Champions' Bar at Burswood perhaps? It'd be awesome if there was a significant group of Force fans all in one spot to watch what will hopefully be our first win.
That'd be just about the only sports bar I can think of that would show the game, what do the rest of you think?
Hmm if I lived closer to Burswood would be there in a flash...but I will be watching it from the comfort of my home, hoping madly for a Force victory.
Burswood could be the go. They haven't yet indicated on their website if they're playing it, however.
They're open at that time and the two Fox Sports channels are usually always on the two big screens all of the time. If they're not they usually comply with requests, especially after midnight when there often aren't many people around.
I think it is the go.
that would be wicked!![]()
I think that the Champions bar would be the go, although I will ask Paul at JB's later today if there are any arrangements being made there if not I will be at the Champions![]()
Hey guys,
I'll be watching live in the stands of Ellis Park, Johannesburg. The lone Western Force supporter amongst the diehard Afrikaaners!
Keep the faith. The win is coming!
Zimbabwe will never be a colony again!
dont get into any fights and keep our boys out of any nightclubs
And don`t tackle the ref, no matter how tempted you get. It isn`t cool......
Or kickers... Or at least if you do, don't miss the tackle, slip over spectacularly and then knock yourself out.Originally Posted by frontrow

So Uncle Bob, stay in the stands!!!
uncle bob i am sooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous!!!
Well, I am looking forward to the big game but I must say I am a little nervous about going. Ellis Park is in a terrible part of Jo'burg and costs a fortune to get to from Sandton, where I am staying, in a taxi (about R200- $40 AUD each way).
Regardless of whether we win or lose I am going to cop a fair bit of abuse from all the Boers, which will be fine as I don't understand a word of Afrikaans except for Kak, which is probably a good word to describe how the Cats have played this year. It will certainly be better than watching on the TV from back in Zimbabwe.
Oh and don't worry I am not going to do a Pieter Van Zyl and jump the fence, tackle the ref etc. Also, from memory, there are quite a few barbed wire fences at Ellis Park so I'll be staying safely in the stands.
Zimbabwe will never be a colony again!
OMG!!! barbed wire!!! hehehe thats funny ... okay so I dont think I should go to a rugby game by myself in SAunless I find an ex rugby player or at least someone built like a rugby player to join me
hehehe
We're all very envious, Uncle Bob (except about the barbed wire bit... that doesn't sound so good). Wavewe'll look out for you!
