Have you seen the 'new' LED advertising being offered on the Force website. It will probably replace the long 'Toblerone' hoarding which runs along the sideline on the Roberts road side of the pitch. Don't get excited if you sit there - your view will still be bloccked out to about the 5 metre line as it has been a every season.
This thing can change at will and have moving pictures. That's OK during stopages, they have to make money, but if it keeps moving during the game it will be a total distraction.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
Cool - never mind booing, tell all your lads to shut their eyes when the opposition kicks and see if you can give them a seizure.
Oooh that looks quite snazzy![]()
let me guess, they are made in south africa?

I wouldn't worry about it.
Shouldn't be to much of a distraction. Plus the club gets more money![]()
I wouldn't be that happy about it moving during play, like lineouts or a ruck/maul on that side of the field.
If you were waiting for the pass and all of a sudden some white banner came up in your sight line, even if it was for a second, it would have to be confusing and be risking an error.
Stoppages in play, intercept runs for the try line etc than ok but not when it's in close and next to the sideline. I think that's asking for trouble.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
They already play with them at other fields, I'm sure the Force will follow the example of the ones which the players are most comfortable with!
ie. if none of our guys care whether the thing changes during play, they'll change (hoping that the other team gets put off).
There might even be a code of practice! The Toblerones seemed to change at will, so I can't imagine an LED being much worse.
